PRODUCT CARE
HUHUA footwear is handcrafted by our skilled artisans. Each product is unique and meticulously made, with every pair of shoes reflecting the hands that created it. This uniqueness tells its own story, which is why small imperfections are signs of its quality and individuality. We use only the finest materials.
Moisture, repeated friction or rubbing, rough or sharp surfaces, solvents or abrasive substances, items that can release colored pigments, - all these can lead to the deterioration of the footwear.
Please note that humidity and constant friction can change the appearance of the shoes. To protect your footwear, store them in a cool, dry place, preferably inside the dust bag provided with your purchase.
The insoles of HUHUA shoes are made from genuine leather and may naturally wear out over time, which should not be considered a manufacturing defect.
HUHUA is not liable for improper use of the product care instructions.
NAPPA LEATHER
Nappa leather is a soft, supple, and very porous natural material that tends to stretch with use. It is important to understand this characteristic when purchasing.
Prolonged exposure to direct light may alter the color of nappa leather. Avoid direct contact with solvents, abrasive substances, or items that could release colored pigments. Deep stains may cause irreversible color changes, especially on light-colored leather. Cleaning: For cleaning, contact specialized professionals. Avoid using colored creams and cleansing milks, as they can create rings and stains that are difficult to remove. Do not use brushes, as they can scratch the surface, or wet cloths, as they can stain the leather. Do not expose the shoe to external heat sources.
SUEDE/BUCKSKIN
Suede is a highly porous natural material that easily absorbs liquids. Despite numerous treatments, suede can transfer color.
Avoid contact with solvents, abrasive materials, and items that could release colored pigments. Deep stains may cause irreversible color changes. As a precaution, suede can be treated with a specific waterproof anti-stain spray available at non-specialized stores.
Cleaning: Always clean dry shoes with a soft-bristle brush, following the direction of the suede's nap. Overuse of the brush, rigid bristles, or strong abrasion can damage the material. Avoid water and solvents. Do not expose the shoes to external heat sources.
GLITTER
Selene is a microfiber fabric coated with a glittery film through heat application. The glitter film consists of crystal powder on transparent plastic.
Handle glitter models with care. Contact and rubbing can cause irreversible material loss and discoloration. Small material loss is normal and not a defect. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity, which can damage the plastic film. Store each shoe in separate bags to prevent contact.
Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth without rubbing. Avoid colored creams and cleansing milks that can create rings and stains. Do not use brushes or damp cloths, as they can damage the surface. Avoid external heat sources.
PATENT LEATHER
Avoid extreme temperature changes and moisture, which can damage the plastic film covering the leather. High temperatures can cause the material to crumble, while low temperatures can make it stiff and prone to cracking. Keep away from solvents, abrasive materials, and anything that might release colored pigments.
Store each shoe in separate bags to prevent direct contact.
Cleaning: When needed, gently clean the upper with a slightly damp cloth without leaving water streaks. Let the shoe air dry, avoiding external heat sources. Do not use brushes or excessive rubbing, which can damage the film irreversibly.
CALFSKIN
Calfskin is a durable natural material that needs proper care to prevent deterioration. Florence calfskin undergoes a waterproofing process using polishing waxes. For longer-lasting effects, use waterproof and stain-proof sprays available at non-specialized stores.
Avoid contact with solvents, abrasive materials, and items that could release colored pigments.
Cleaning: Use a woolen cloth with light circular movements. Ensure there are no foreign elements on the surface before cleaning. Avoid colored creams and cleansing milks, as they can create rings and stains. Do not use brushes or damp cloths, as they can scratch or stain the material. Avoid external heat sources. Always clean dry shoes.
HANOI
Hanoi is synthetic leather with a woven design, featuring colorful loops or metallic film applications. Direct light exposure can change the color. Avoid contact with solvents, abrasive materials, and items that could release colored pigments.
Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth with light movements. Avoid colored creams and cleansing milks, as they can create rings and stains. Do not use brushes that can scratch the surface. Do not expose the shoes to external heat sources.
SATIN
Satin is a durable fabric that retains its shape over time.
Avoid exposing wet shoes to direct sunlight or heat sources. Let them dry thoroughly in a cool, ventilated area.
Keep away from solvents, abrasive materials, and items that could release colored pigments. Deep stains, especially on light colors, may cause irreversible color changes.
Cleaning: Use a dry cloth to gently dab the affected area. For deep stains, consult specialized professionals. Do not use brushes that can scratch the material. Avoid excessive abrasion, water, and solvents. Do not apply colored creams or cleansing milk, as they can create rings and stains.
FLASH
Flash is metallized nappa leather with a thin laminated foil. Nappa leather stretches with use. This material may wrinkle or ripple with continuous bending, which is normal and not a defect. Direct light exposure can change the color. Avoid contact with solvents, abrasive materials, and items that could release colored pigments.
Deep stains may cause irreversible color changes.
Cleaning: Use a woolen cloth with light circular movements. Ensure there are no foreign elements on the surface before cleaning. Avoid colored creams and cleansing milks, as they can create rings and stains. Do not use brushes or damp cloths. Avoid external heat sources. Always clean dry shoes.
